Near-collision, Cessna 208B and Robin DR 400/180, Midden Zeeland Airport

At the entry point of the air traffic circuit, the Cessna Caravan passed the Robin DR 400/180 overhead at a short distance. The speed difference between the two aircraft, the merging procedure, interference on the radio channel, and incompatible warning systems may have contributed to the occurrence. After landing, it was found that the Robin’s canopy mirror had detached. No damage was found on the Cessna.
