Fatal accident in the port of Lauwersoog

On 6 December 2022, a crew member of a support vessel sailing under the flag of Vanuatu fell between shore and ship in the port of Lauwersoog. For the crew member the accident was fatal. The investigative body of the flag state Vanuatu has started an investigation. The Dutch Safety Board acts as a Substantially Interested State.
