Fatal accident during hoisting operations

On 28 December 2022, a fatal accident occurred on board a Dutch Ro-Ro cargo ship in the port of Kotka (Finland). During operations, a local dock worker, who was working aboard the ship, was hit by lifting chains. The dock worker fell with fatal consequences.
