A crewmember of the Dutch flagged Victoriaborg has fallen overboard in international waters during bad weather conditions. Following the accident the French coastguard started a search and rescue operation. The Victoriaborg was not able to participate into the search due to steering gear problems. The deceased body of the crewmember washed ashore later.
