Interim statement ‘Airprox, ASK 21 B, ASH25Mi, Venlo glider airfield’

This interim statement provides an update on the ongoing investigation by the Dutch Safety Board into a serious incident with a Schleicher ASK-21B and a Schleicher ASH-25Mi at glider site Venlo on 23rd of May 2021. The ASK-21B was taking off from the field when it come in close proximity of the ASH-25Mi, which came from a different aerodrome. This caused an airprox.
It is expected that the final report of the investigation will be published during the coming months.
