The Dutch Safety Board publishes the Shipping Occurrences Report January – July 2024. In this 18th edition of the Shipping Occurrences Report we pay attention to our theme article Sailing in an Industrial Area about the investigation ‘Compromise on Room to Manoeuvre, managing the safety of shipping in
an increasingly crowded North Sea’. The investigation focussed on the risk management of shipping safety in an increasingly crowded North Sea. With the theme article, the Dutch Safety Board focusses on what seafarers can do in this changing environment.

The Safety Board publishes this report twice a year. This reports contains the following information:
