Passenger suffered injury on landing, Kubicek BB120P, PH-MOL, near Soest

The flight with the hot air balloon started in Huizen. A pilot and eighteen passengers were on board the partitioned basket. After approximately one hour of flight, the pilot selected a flat field with short grass as landing area. Shortly before the landing, the pilot repeated the instructions for landing. The pilot stated he made a shallow approach towards the landing area and that the landing was normal. During the landing, an 79-year old passenger suffered a fractured bone in the forearm.
