Occupational accident on Dutch dredger – Port of Eckernförde (Germany)

The German Federal Bureau of Maritime Casualty Investigation (BSU) has launched an investigation into a workplace accident on board a Dutch dredging vessel in the port of Eckernförde on 23 March 2025. One crew member sustained serious injuries in the incident. The Dutch Safety Board is participating in the investigation as a substantially interested State.
