Diverted because of lack of fuel, Boeing 777, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

A Boeing 777 of Britsh Airways, flight BA16, en route from Singapore to London divereted to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport because of lack of fuel. The plane landed safely at 07.10 hrs and no one was injured.

In consultation with the Air Accidents Investigation Branch of the United Kingdom it has been decided that this organisation will take over the lead of the investigation as from June 23, 2010.
