The KLM Fokker 70 en route from Amsterdam to Sandefjord in Norway, was flying above the North Sea southwest of the island Sylt when an American F-15C fighter jet came close by the passenger plane. The crew of the Fokker 70 performed an evasive manoeuvre. Both aircraft continued their flight without particulars.
