  • Dutch Safety Board investigates follow-up to recommendations in 2013 Odfjell report

The Dutch Safety Board will be conducting an investigation to assess the follow-up to its 2013 report entitled ‘Safety of Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam, 2000-2012’. The report contains a total of eight recommendations to Odfjell, the commissioning parties, the licensing authority, the supervisory body and the State Secretary. The Dutch Safety Board will be seeking to determine whether the improvements announced in response to the previous report have actually resulted in improved safety on the ground.

The Dutch Safety Board is authorised to conduct investigations into the implementation of recommendations issued in previous investigations, in accordance with Section 76 of the Dutch Safety Board Act.
